Bunji Dam Hydropower Project
The project is located on river Indus 83 KM east of Gilgit, headquarter of Northern Areas of Pakistan.
AJoint Venture comprising three foreign and two local consulting engineers firms namely; MMI UK (Lead Firm), Nippon Koei Japan,
Sogreah France, MM Pakistan and DMC Pakistan, provided consultancy services for the project during May, 2007 to Sept. 2010.
These included feasibility study and preparation of detailed engineering designs, project cost estimates, PC-1 Proforma and
tender documents. Some further geological and geo-technical investigations were undertaken following the submission of design
report in September, 2010. Based on the results of these investigations, necessary design modifications were incorporated in the
design report and the Assignment has been completed on 31st March, 2013.
