The study was funded by IWASRI. It aimed at comprehensive review of research on reclamation measures for different types of salt affected soils. DMC conducted economic analysis of reclamation measures for different types of saline sodic and sodic soils. Reclamation Action Plan was prepared for the farming communities and various line agencies to promote land reclamation. Based on economic analysis, DMC recommended priority reclamation programme for implementation by the farming community.
