Euro Consultants led Joint Venture including DMC and BARQAAB, are providing consultancy services for the project. These include provision of assistance to PIDA in preparing appropriate strategy for mobilizing &strengthening of Key Persons & Farmers Organizations (FOs); preparation of procedural manuals for social organizers; continuous monitoring of KPs & FOs formation in the LBDC Command; development of comprehensive curricula & material for training of FOs office bearers; assist PIDA in identification and recruitment of suitable training providers and monitoring &evaluation of courses; assist PIDA and AWB in the development of an appropriate system for assessing & collecting abiana; preparation of training curricula & materials for financial management training of FOs, IMUs &AWB; preparation of guidelines & procedures for establishment & management of IMUs; development of appropriate procedures & plans for operation of the upgraded distributary & minor canals; development of appropriate procedures & plans for operational management of upgraded LBDC main canal system; preparation of various rules, regulations & considerations for inclusion in an AWB Charter including staffing requirements & financial management aspects and preparation of model customer services contracts
