These barrages are located on rivers Indus, Ravi & Satluj respectively in the province of Punjab and supply i rrigation water to a large tract of land in the province.

The JV led by ACE provided consultancy services in the areas of detailed geo-tech investigations, structural & hydrological investigations, model studies, preparation of remodeling & rehabilitation plan, preparation of plan for instrumentation and automation, preparation of feasibility report and PC-1 Proformas for rehabilitation and modernization of these barrages suffering from aging, deferred maintenance, hydraulic and sedimentation / retrogression problems that threaten their stability. DMC provided inputs in the areas of planning, design, surveys & investigations, environment impact assessment and project costing.
