The project was funded by Australian Agency for International Development and United Nation Development Programme. It was implemented by International Water Logging and Salinity Research Institute (IWASRI). The project aimed at rehabilitation of salt effected and waterlogged lands through participation of farming communities. For this purpose various research institutions / organizations, universities and research centers presented 108 papers in a Workshop on, “Community Participation for the Rehabilitation of Salt Affected and Waterlogged Lands”. DMC reviewed and evaluated all 108 papers presented in the Workshop and formulated recommendations for land reclamation by farming community.
